The Sharks are finally back on the winning track after they overwhelmed the Dragons 69 – 14 in Durban.

The home team ran the Welsh visitors off their feet and scored ten tries, while the returning Springbok players undoubtedly made a difference.

Grant Williams (twice in the summer), Eben Etzebeth, Makazole Mapimpi and Lukhanyo Am all contributed to the Sharks’ hat-trick party.

Then Werner Kok also played a burst: The blond former Blitzbok player scored a try of his own, while his tenacious defense also stopped a few promising Dragon runs in their tracks.

It was the Sharks’ first win of the latest United Rugby Championship season and they celebrated it properly.

The Durbanites play against the Bulls at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.
