Three people, including two students, were wounded after a knife incident at the Australian National University in Canberra, Australia.
The attack happened at 2.45pm Australian time on Monday.
Two women, both 20 years old, were taken to hospital after the attack. One of the women is in a critical condition and the other is stable.
The women are both students at the university.
According to the police, a 34-year-old man was also attacked during the incident. The man suffered only minor injuries and was not taken to a hospital.
A 24-year-old man has since been arrested, but has not yet been charged.
The police say the man is apparently not a student at the university and “no specific motive for the incident has been identified”.
