These movies, actors nominated for an Oscar


The nominations for the 96th Academy Awards were announced on Tuesday. Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer 13 different categories were nominated.

Margot Robbie was highly anticipated for her role Barbie, last year’s top-grossing movie, would be nominated for an Oscar. However, it is America Ferrera, the Latin American actress known for her role in the TV series Ugly Bettywho comes in with an Oscar nomination for her role Barbie boast.

On Tuesday, Martin Scorsese (81) became the oldest person ever to be nominated for best director with his movie, Killers of the Flower Moon.

Composer John Williams wrote for the music of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny received his 54th nomination – the most nominations ever for any living person. It’s next to Walt Disney.
