Three suspects were arrested after a robbery on Saturday morning in Wellington in the Western Cape.
“According to reports, robbers entered a mobile phone shop in Kerkstraat,” says Sgt. Wesley Twigg, spokesman for the police. “They threatened the owner with a firearm and demanded mobile phones and cash.”
The shopkeeper was shot in the head and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Three suspects were arrested on charges of robbery and attempted murder.
