Tickets for Cape All Blacks test available soon

Tickets for the Rugby Championship Test between the Springboks and the All Blacks at DHL Stadium are available from 19 June.

But with tickets expected to be in high demand, SA Rugby (Saru) announced today that a registration and lottery process (from 27 May to 9 June) is the best way forward.

In this way, an attempt is made to ensure fairness and reduce frustration levels by combating secondary resales, ticket fraud and counterfeit tickets.

Those interested are encouraged to register for the draw. However, this does not mean that you will be sitting with test tickets in your hands, but that you have registered for the draw.

All registrations are treated equally, so it does not matter when in the registration period you complete the process. However, supporters can only register once.

“Successful applicants who are randomly selected from the draw will then be invited to buy up to four tickets,” said Saru.

But rugby fans will then have to jump quickly; those who are first in line at this ticket mill will have priority.

Registration will take place on Ticketmaster from 27 May, while links to the website will also be available on the Stormers and Western Province websites.

If your name is successfully drawn, you will receive an email by 17 June detailing the way forward.

Prices for the test vary between R250 and R3 500 per ticket.
