Tiger boasts new clothing line

The Tiger is back. This time, however, in a new guise.

The golf star Tiger Woods launched his new clothing line on Monday evening in Pacific Palesades in Los Angeles, after his partnership of more than 27 years with Nike came to an end at the end of last month.

Woods’ new series will be known as Sun Day Red and boasts a leaping tiger as an emblem.

The leaping tiger is illustrated by 15 stripes. The number of strokes represents the number of Major titles Woods has won so far in his career.

The name Sun Day Red comes from Woods’ habit of wearing a bright red shirt on Sundays during the final round of tournaments.

However, the American golf phenomenon is superstitious and believes in multiples of threes. This is why Sun Day Red was launched as three words.

The new clothing range, which will also include a shoe range and caps, is made by golf club manufacturer TaylorMade.

Woods has been playing with TaylorMade golf clubs since 2017.

Sun Day Red is a new company with Woods and TaylorMade as shareholders.

Former Quicksilver and RVCA boss Brad Blankinship has been hired to manage Sun Day Red.

According to Woods, he has learned over the years how clothes and shoes should be made to help him play better.

He is now ready to share these secrets with everyone in the new series that will be available to the public from May 1.

Woods is not only the most popular golf star on earth, but also one of the most beloved sports stars of all time. The new clothing line could therefore bring Woods millions in the pocket.

Woods makes his return to the fairway on Thursday at the Riviera Country Club when he tees off in the Genesis Invitational.

He is also the host of the tournament which is one of the PGA series’ most elite tournaments and boasts a prize pool of $20 million (about R380 million).
