In just over a week, the Springboks play against Scotland in their opening game of the Rugby World Cup tournament in France.

Together with Arnold Geerdts, RNews talked to two rugby experts at HoĆ«rskool Garsfontein (thanks, Garsies!) who know what it takes to hold a World Cup winner’s medal.

Hennie le Roux (Springbok inside center in the 1995 tournament) and dr. Henning Gericke (sports psychologist who held up the Webb Ellis trophy with the Boks in 2007) shares their input on South Africa’s outlook for the upcoming tournament.

At the same time, there is also fun with top sponsors – such as Global Wellness Enterprises and ATKV-Oorde.

RNews promises a packed World Cup program for its readers. In addition to all the stories and photos, a video of Geerdts’ poignant analysis and commentary will be posted every Monday.

At the same time, remember to send in your rugby question for a chance to win a break at one of ATKV’s seven self-catering holiday resorts of your choice.
