Thousands of cheerful festival-goers walked through the stalls of Momentum Beleggings Aardklop’s warm and cheerful festival grounds this week.
“It is an extreme blessing to be here, it has been a wonderful experience so far,” Francis Victor, one of the stall holders at the festival, told RNews.
“I think the people are hungry for art and culture. What I have personally experienced is that the people are eager to support us as local businesses.”
This year, festival-goers could pick and choose from impressive handmade products, gorgeous jewelery and delectable food. Even though the sun baked the grounds hot, the stalls were not quiet for a moment.
“It’s very nice, very warm and the people are friendly,” said Monique van Rooyen, another stallholder.
When festival-goers weren’t exploring the stalls, they were busy listening to one of the many artists on the site stage. These artists include, among others, Jak de Priester, Jakkie Louw, Abel Knobel, Ouderdoos, Gift Matjila, Vrede, Anton Goosen, Jemma Catherine, Cordelia, Janie Bay, Ruan Josh, Corlea Botha and Brendan Peyper.
