Eskom says one generating unit each at the Camden and Matla power stations has been put back into service in the past 24 hours. However, one generating unit each at the Duvha, Grootvlei, Kriel and Matla power stations was put out of action during this time for repairs.
Eskom is also currently experiencing a delay in the return of a generating unit at Kendal and two generating units at Tutuka.
The power supplier says this delay contributes to the current capacity constraint.
