Mayor to deliver Buffalo City Municipality 2020 State of the City Address
East London - The Executive Mayor of Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality, Xola Pakati, is expected to deliver the 2020 State of the City Address this Thursday.
Under the theme: 'Building socio-economic resilience, A City hard at work”, the Executive Mayor will outline future plans and report on progress made on the delivery of services.
In his address, Cllr Pakati will also unpack the budget that will be utilized in the 2020/2021 financial year and make major announcements on the Municipality’s mega game-changing infrastructure projects.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the State of the City will be delivered virtually.
It will be streamed live on Mpuma Kapa (Bay TV) DSTV Channel 260, and social media platforms including this BCM Facebook page, Dispatch LIVE, KNR Media and on community radio stations Mdantsane FM, Kumkani FM and LinkFM (DSTV 875).
