Port Elizabeth police seek public help after toddler vanishes with mom's ex-lover
Algoa Park SAPS are seeking the assistance of the community in tracing a missing three year old girl, Roxanne Unathi Stuurman who was last seen on the afternoon of 10 June.
It is alleged that the young girl was taken to Kenako Mall, Struandale, Port Elizabeth, by her mother’s ex-boyfriend at about 13:50.
After two hours, the mother tried to contact the 28-year-old man, but his phone was off.
He later called the mother back and promised to bring the child back home, but he never kept his promise.
On 11 June, the young girl was reported missing at Algoa Park SAPS by her mother.
Algoa Park Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) members visited various addresses in Zwide, Soweto on Sea and Missionvale including the man’s working premises in search of the man and/or the missing child without success.
Algoa Park SAPS are appealing to anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Lubabalo Galela and Roxanne Unathi Stuurman to phone the Investigating Officer D/Cst Luzuko Pehlo, on 082 565 0155, give the station’s telephone no too or Crime Stop 08600 10111 or the Crime Line 32211.
